Connect GitHub Copilot to Superbridger

You need a Superbridger account with your social accounts connected. Then:

    In VS Code, open the Command Palette and run MCP: Add Server.

  2. 2

    Choose HTTP, enter https://superbridger.com/api/mcp, name it superbridger, and save it to your user profile so it's there in every project.

  3. 3

    Start a chat in agent mode. VS Code asks you to trust the server and to sign in: Superbridger opens in your browser. Sign in, pick the team, and choose Allow.

On Copilot Free, Pro, Pro+ and Max it works straight away. On Copilot Business and Enterprise, the organization's MCP servers in Copilot policy has to be on.

Videos and images

It can upload videos and images straight from your computer: start_upload gives it a ready-made upload command, and finish_upload checks the file for every platform. MP4 or MOV, JPEG, PNG or GIF, up to 1 GB. It can also import a public link.

Does it work with Copilot Free?

Yes. On Copilot Free, Pro, Pro+ and Max you can add Superbridger yourself. On Business and Enterprise, the organization needs the MCP servers in Copilot policy switched on.

Do I need VS Code?

These steps are for VS Code. Elsewhere, add the same address as an HTTP MCP server in that tool's MCP settings and sign in when it asks.

Can GitHub Copilot post to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X?

Yes, through Superbridger. Connect Superbridger to GitHub Copilot, and it can publish or schedule a post to the accounts you connected in Superbridger: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X. TikTok posts arrive as a draft in the TikTok inbox, to finish there.

Will GitHub Copilot post without asking me?

VS Code asks you to confirm before Copilot runs a tool, unless you've chosen to always allow it. Keep confirming Superbridger's publishing tools to OK every post; Superbridger checks every post for each platform first.

Is the MCP server free?

It's included in every Superbridger plan and in the free trial, at no extra cost. Posts made from an AI app count toward the plan's monthly posts and X credits, the same as posts made on the website.
