Schedule Instagram Reels, carousels and Stories from one upload

Schedule Instagram Reels, photos, carousels and Stories, with trial reels, share-to-feed, your own cover and the AI label. One upload, posted to every platform.

Instagram with Superbridger, in short

  • Superbridger publishes Reels, single photos, carousels of up to 10 photos and Stories to Instagram professional accounts, right away or at a time you choose, from the same upload as your other platforms.
  • A Reel can be shared to the main feed or kept in the Reels tab, posted as a trial reel that non-followers see first, and given a cover: a frame from the video or an image of your own.
  • Every post is checked against Instagram's rules before it goes out: 3 seconds to 15 minutes, up to 300 MB, and a caption of up to 2,200 characters with at most 5 hashtags.
  • Posts go out through Instagram's official API and appear as normal posts. Superbridger shows their likes, comments, views, reach, saves, shares and, for Reels, watch time.
  • You connect through Facebook's own login: Superbridger never sees your password.

What you can post to Instagram

  • Reels

Any video becomes a Reel, from 3 seconds to 15 minutes; vertical 9:16 works best. Share it to your feed or keep it in the Reels tab.

  • Photos and carousels

One photo, or a carousel of up to 10. Photos go out as JPEG, cropped to fit between 4:5 portrait and 1.91:1 landscape if needed.

  • Stories

A video of 3 to 60 seconds or one photo, as a Story. Stickers and links are added in the Instagram app itself.

  • Trial reels

Show a Reel to people who don't follow you first. Share it with your followers yourself, or let Instagram do it when it performs well.

What Superbridger sends to Instagram

  • Your caption and hashtags (Instagram allows 5)
  • Share to the main feed, or the Reels tab only
  • A trial reel, shared by you or automatically when it does well
  • A cover: a frame you pick from the video, or an image of your own
  • The AI info label, for Reels and photo posts
  • A Story instead of a post, for a video or one photo

What you need: An Instagram professional account (business or creator) linked to a Facebook Page. Connecting with Instagram's own login, without a Page, is coming.

How to post to Instagram with Superbridger

From upload to post in a few minutes, and the same steps for every other platform.

  1. 1

In Superbridger, go to Social accounts and connect your Instagram professional account with Facebook's login.

  2. 2

Upload your video or photos once, and write your caption and hashtags.

  3. 3

In the Instagram tab, choose a Reel or a Story, share to feed or a trial reel, and pick a cover.

  4. 4

Tick the other platforms that should get the same post, and give any of them its own text.

  5. 5

Click Check to see what each platform will get, then publish. Publish right away, or pick a date and time up to 180 days ahead.

  6. 6

Follow the post on its page: its link, and its likes, views and reach once Instagram reports them.

Tips for Instagram

  • Tip 1Keep text out of the bottom fifth of the frame: Instagram puts the caption and buttons there.
  • Tip 2Use a trial reel to test a hook on non-followers before your followers see it.
  • Tip 3Pick a cover that works as a thumbnail, a frame or an image of your own: it's what shows on your profile grid.
  • Tip 4Use 5 hashtags at most: that's Instagram's limit, and Superbridger stops a post with more before it fails.
  • Tip 5Post a Story for what's happening today, and a Reel for what should keep being found.

What isn't possible (yet)

So you know before you start.

  • Collaborators, locations, user tags, alt text and music aren't sent.
  • A first comment isn't posted.
  • Stickers and links on Stories: Instagram only allows them in its own app.
  • A carousel mixing videos and photos: a post is either a video or photos.
  • Personal (non-professional) accounts: Instagram only lets apps publish to professional accounts. Switching is free, in Instagram's settings.

Instagram and every other platform, from one upload

A Reel doesn't have to stop at Instagram. The same vertical video becomes a Facebook Reel, a YouTube Short and a draft in your TikTok inbox, and goes to LinkedIn and X too, each with its own text where you want it. Photos go along as a Facebook photo post, a LinkedIn post with up to 20 images or up to 4 images on X.

FAQ

Instagram questions

Can I schedule Instagram Reels?

Yes. Pick a date and time up to 180 days ahead and Superbridger publishes the Reel then, with its cover, caption and settings. Until then you can move it, cancel it or publish it right away.

Do I need a business account?

You need an Instagram professional account, business or creator, linked to a Facebook Page: Instagram only lets apps publish to those. Switching to a professional account is free. Connecting with Instagram's own login, without a Page, is coming.

Can I post carousels and Stories?

Both. A carousel takes up to 10 photos, or post a single photo. A Story takes a video of 3 to 60 seconds or one photo, without text; stickers and links can only be added in the Instagram app.

What are trial reels?

A trial reel is shown to people who don't follow you first, so you can test a video without your followers seeing it. Share it with your followers yourself later, or let Instagram share it when it performs well.

How many hashtags can I use?

Five per post: that's Instagram's limit. Superbridger warns you before posting if a caption has more, so the post doesn't fail.

Can I choose the cover of a Reel?

Yes: pick a frame from the video, or upload an image of your own. It's what shows on your profile grid.

Does a Reel posted through Superbridger look any different?

No. It's published through Instagram's official publishing API and appears as a normal Reel on your account.

Can I see how my posts do?

Yes. Superbridger shows each post's likes, comments, views, reach, saves and shares, watch time for Reels, profile visits and follows for photo posts, and your follower count.
