How to post on social media from Claude

Claude can write your posts; with Superbridger connected it can publish and schedule them too, on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X. Here's how to set it up and what to ask.

In short

Add Superbridger to Claude as a custom connector with the address https://superbridger.com/api/mcp, sign in to Superbridger, and Claude can post for you.
Claude can then see your brands, accounts and calendar, check a post for each platform, publish or schedule it, move or cancel it, and read how your posts did: 15 tools in all.
It posts to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X, with TikTok posts arriving as drafts in the TikTok inbox.
Claude asks before it uses a tool, so nothing is published without your OK unless you choose Always allow.

What do you need?

A Claude account on any plan, and a Superbridger account with your social accounts connected.

Claude: Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Free has room for one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds the connector first.
Superbridger: start the free trial and connect your social accounts with each platform's own login. That part happens on the website, because it's the platforms' own sign-in.

How do you connect Claude to Superbridger?

Add Superbridger as a custom connector, then sign in and choose Allow.

Open claude.ai/customize/connectors (in the desktop app: Customize in the sidebar, then Connectors) and choose Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Superbridger, paste https://superbridger.com/api/mcp as the URL, and choose Continue.
Keep the sign-in settings Claude detects (the OAuth client: Register automatically) and choose Add.
Superbridger opens: sign in, pick the team, and choose Allow. Leave "Also let it post" ticked if Claude may publish; untick it for read-only.
In a chat, choose + in the message box, then Connectors, and switch Superbridger on.

The connector is then in the Claude desktop and phone apps too, and in Claude Code when you're signed in with the same account. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors, and then you choose Connect under Customize → Connectors.

What can you ask Claude?

Anything you'd do in a scheduling tool, in your own words.

"Write three LinkedIn posts about our launch and schedule them for Tuesday to Thursday at 8:00."
"Turn this article into an Instagram caption and a post for X, and schedule both for tomorrow at 9:00."
"Post the video at this Dropbox link to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with this caption, tonight at 19:00."
"What's going out this week?"
"Which of last month's posts got the most views, and on which platform?"
"Move Friday's post to Monday at 10:00."

Claude checks every post first and shows what each platform will get: the YouTube title, the shorter text for X, the hashtags Instagram allows. Then it publishes or schedules it. Posts made from Claude show in Superbridger as "from Claude", with your name.

How do videos and images get there?

Give Claude a public link; in Claude Code, a file on your computer works too.

A link: a Dropbox or Google Drive share link, or a file on a website. Claude hands it to Superbridger, which downloads it.
Your media library: ask Claude to use a video you already uploaded to Superbridger.
Claude Code: it can upload a file from your computer straight to Superbridger.

Videos are checked for every platform before anything is posted: length, size, shape and format.

How do you stay in charge?

Claude asks before each action, works in one team you pick, and stops the moment you disconnect it.

Claude asks before each use of a tool: choose Allow once to OK every post, or Always allow for the ones you trust.
On the Allow screen you choose whether Claude may post, or only read your posts, calendar and numbers.
It works in the one team you picked, with your plan's limits and every platform's checks.
Disconnect it any time in Superbridger under Settings → Connected apps; it stops on its next request.

Questions about posting from Claude

Can Claude post to Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn?

Yes, with Superbridger connected: Claude can publish and schedule posts to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X, on the accounts you connected in Superbridger.

Is there a tool that lets Claude or ChatGPT post to my social media accounts?

Yes. Superbridger has an MCP server that Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps connect to. They can then write, check, publish and schedule your posts, and read how they did.

Does it cost extra?

No. The MCP server is in every Superbridger plan and in the free trial, and adding a custom connector is free on every Claude plan. Posts made from Claude count toward your plan's posts like any other.

Will Claude post without asking me?

Not unless you let it: Claude asks before each use of a tool. Choose Allow once to approve every post, or connect read-only.

Can I schedule a post from the Claude app on my phone?

Yes. A connector you add on claude.ai or in the desktop app is in the Claude phone app too.

Does it work with ChatGPT too?
