Connect Gemini CLI to Superbridger

You need a Superbridger account with your social accounts connected. Then:

    Run gemini mcp add -s user --transport http superbridger https://superbridger.com/api/mcp.

    Start gemini. The first time it uses superbridger, your browser opens (or run /mcp auth superbridger).

    On Superbridger, sign in, pick the team, and choose Allow.

The sign-in needs a browser on the computer Gemini CLI runs on. Since June 2026 Gemini CLI runs with an AI Studio or Vertex API key, Gemini Code Assist Standard or Enterprise, or Google Cloud; free and Google AI Pro or Ultra accounts use Antigravity CLI, where the address goes under serverUrl in its mcp_config.json.

Videos and images

It can upload videos and images straight from your computer: start_upload gives it a ready-made upload command, and finish_upload checks the file for every platform. MP4 or MOV, JPEG, PNG or GIF, up to 1 GB. It can also import a public link.

Gemini CLI and Superbridger

Does it work with a free Google account?

Free and Google AI Pro or Ultra accounts use Antigravity CLI since June 2026. It connects to Superbridger the same way: add the address under serverUrl in its mcp_config.json and sign in when it asks.

Can I use it over SSH?

The sign-in opens a browser on the computer Gemini CLI runs on and waits for it on a local port, so sign in once on that computer, or forward the port.

Can Gemini CLI post to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X?

Yes, through Superbridger. Connect Superbridger to Gemini CLI, and it can publish or schedule a post to the accounts you connected in Superbridger: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and X. TikTok posts arrive as a draft in the TikTok inbox, to finish there.

Will Gemini CLI post without asking me?

Gemini CLI asks you to confirm before it runs a tool, unless you've allowed it for good or started it in auto-approve mode. Keep confirming Superbridger's publishing tools to OK every post; Superbridger checks every post for each platform first.

Is the MCP server free?

It's included in every Superbridger plan and in the free trial, at no extra cost. Posts made from an AI app count toward the plan's monthly posts and X credits, the same as posts made on the website.
